Cronobacter turicensis is a facultatively anaerobic, Gram-negative rod of the family Enterobacteriaceae, first isolated from a fatal case of neonatal meningitis in Zurich. Like other Cronobacter species, it has been associated with severe infections in neonates, including necrotising enterocolitis and sepsis, often linked to contaminated powdered infant formula. The genome of C. turicensis encodes virulence factors including outer-membrane proteins, siderophores, and a type VI secretion system, and it carries a characteristic repA-type virulence plasmid.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
