Corynebacterium striatum is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming, club-shaped rod of the family Corynebacteriaceae, normally found as a commensal on human skin and mucous membranes. It has emerged as a multidrug-resistant opportunistic pathogen causing healthcare-associated infections including bloodstream infections, prosthetic joint infections, endocarditis, and respiratory tract infections. C. striatum genomes carry diverse antimicrobial resistance genes, often on mobile genetic elements, and the species displays considerable clonal diversity with evidence of nosocomial transmission clusters.
Derived from 372 genomes: 6 from RefSeq and 366 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for qualibact-v1.0.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
