Citrobacter youngae is a facultatively anaerobic, Gram-negative rod of the family Enterobacteriaceae, commonly isolated from the intestinal tract of humans and animals as well as from environmental sources. It is an occasional opportunistic pathogen implicated in bloodstream and intra-abdominal infections, particularly in hospitalised patients. C. youngae is closely related to C. freundii and its genome harbours variable mobile elements, including integrons and plasmids carrying antimicrobial resistance genes.
Derived from 142 genomes: 4 from RefSeq and 138 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for qualibact-v1.0.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
