Burkholderia seminalis is a Gram-negative, non-fermenting rod of the Burkholderia cepacia complex (Bcc), initially isolated from rice seeds and clinical specimens. It occupies a dual ecological niche as both a plant-associated bacterium with antifungal properties and an opportunistic pathogen in immunocompromised individuals, particularly those with cystic fibrosis. The genome of B. seminalis is organised across multiple replicons and encodes secondary metabolite clusters, including those for antifungal compounds, alongside typical Bcc virulence factors.
Derived from 8 genomes: 4 from RefSeq and 4 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for REFSEQ-QC-v1.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
