Bacteroides caccae is an obligately anaerobic, non-spore-forming Gram-negative rod in the family Bacteroidaceae, residing as a commensal in the human large intestine. It participates in the fermentation of complex polysaccharides and has been implicated in studies of gut microbiome shifts associated with inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer. B. caccae possesses multiple polysaccharide utilisation loci (PULs) and a genome rich in carbohydrate-active enzymes (CAZymes), reflecting its specialised role in dietary fibre degradation in the distal gut.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
