Xylella fastidiosa is a Gram-negative, fastidious, xylem-limited bacterium of the family Xanthomonadaceae, transmitted by xylem-feeding insect vectors such as sharpshooters and spittlebugs. It is the causal agent of numerous devastating plant diseases including Pierce's disease of grapevine, olive quick decline syndrome, and citrus variegated chlorosis, affecting over 500 plant species worldwide. X. fastidiosa has a relatively small genome (approximately 2.5 Mb) with significant inter-subspecies recombination, and its pathogenicity depends on biofilm formation, cell-cell signalling, and colonisation of host xylem vessels.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
