Xanthomonas oryzae is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped bacterium of the family Xanthomonadaceae and the causal agent of bacterial blight (pv. oryzae) and bacterial leaf streak (pv. oryzicola) of rice, two of the most destructive diseases of this staple crop. It is prevalent in rice-growing regions across Asia and Africa and causes substantial yield losses. X. oryzae genomes are notable for large numbers of transcription activator-like (TAL) effector genes, insertion sequences, and extensive structural variation that drive virulence adaptation and the arms race with host resistance genes.
Derived from 521 genomes: 228 from RefSeq and 293 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for qualibact-v1.0.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
