Xanthomonas hortorum is a Gram-negative, aerobic rod of the family Xanthomonadaceae, comprising several pathovars that cause bacterial leaf spot and blight on a wide range of horticultural crops including lettuce, carrot, pelargonium, and ivy. Like other xanthomonads, it produces yellow xanthomonadin pigments and xanthan gum, and relies on a type III secretion system to deliver effector proteins into host cells. X. hortorum has a genome of approximately 5 Mb with a diverse effector repertoire that varies among pathovars and underlies host specificity.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
