Xanthomonas campestris is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped bacterium of the family Xanthomonadaceae and a globally significant plant pathogen, best known as the causal agent of black rot in cruciferous crops. It produces the exopolysaccharide xanthan gum, which has widespread industrial applications in food and drilling fluids. X. campestris genomes encode a sophisticated type III secretion system delivering diverse effector proteins into host cells, and comparative genomics has revealed extensive pathovar-level diversity reflecting adaptation to different Brassicaceae hosts.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
