Taylorella equigenitalis is a Gram-negative, microaerophilic coccobacillus of the family Alcaligenaceae within the order Burkholderiales. It is the causative agent of contagious equine metritis (CEM), a notifiable sexually transmitted disease of horses that causes mucopurulent vaginal discharge and temporary infertility in mares. Genomically, T. equigenitalis has a relatively small genome (~1.6 Mb) with limited metabolic versatility, reflecting its obligate association with the equine reproductive tract, and shows low genetic diversity across global isolates.
Derived from 246 genomes: 51 from RefSeq and 195 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for qualibact-v1.0.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
