Serratia ureilytica is a Gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic rod in the family Yersiniaceae, first isolated from the river Torsa in India and named for its strong urease activity. It has since been recovered from water, soil, and clinical specimens, and is regarded as an emerging opportunistic pathogen capable of causing urinary tract and bloodstream infections. S. ureilytica is closely related to Serratia liquefaciens and is distinguished by phenotypic traits and genomic analyses, with its genome encoding urease operons and various antimicrobial resistance loci.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
