Pseudomonas paracarnis is a Gram-negative, aerobic rod belonging to the family Pseudomonadaceae, closely related to the food-spoilage species Pseudomonas carnis. It has been isolated from chilled meat and food-processing environments, where it contributes to spoilage through the production of extracellular enzymes and volatile off-flavour compounds. P. paracarnis was delineated as a separate species through whole-genome average nucleotide identity analysis and possesses a genome rich in cold-adaptation and nutrient-scavenging genes.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
