Pseudomonas avellanae is a Gram-negative, non-spore-forming rod in the family Pseudomonadaceae and a member of the Pseudomonas syringae species complex. It is the causal agent of bacterial canker and decline of hazelnut (Corylus avellana), a disease of major economic concern in Mediterranean nut-growing regions. P. avellanae harbours a type III secretion system and effector repertoire similar to other P. syringae pathovars, though with a more restricted host range and a relatively compact genome.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
