Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a Gram-negative, aerobic, non-fermenting rod in the family Pseudomonadaceae, ubiquitous in soil, water, and moist environments. It is one of the most clinically significant opportunistic pathogens, causing chronic lung infections in cystic fibrosis patients, ventilator-associated pneumonia, burn wound infections, and bloodstream infections, and is listed by the WHO as a critical-priority pathogen due to carbapenem resistance. P. aeruginosa possesses a large, highly adaptable genome (~6.3 Mb) encoding quorum-sensing networks, type III and type VI secretion systems, extensive efflux pumps, and a broad capacity for biofilm formation.
Derived from 41,455 genomes: 1,364 from RefSeq and 40,091 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for qualibact-v1.0.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
