Morganella morganii is a motile, Gram-negative rod in the family Morganellaceae (order Enterobacterales), found in the environment and as part of the normal intestinal flora of humans and reptiles. It is an opportunistic pathogen associated with urinary tract infections, wound infections, bacteraemia, and nosocomial outbreaks, often in debilitated or postoperative patients. The genome of M. morganii (~3.8 Mb) frequently carries chromosomal AmpC beta-lactamase and has increasing prevalence of plasmid-mediated carbapenemase and extended-spectrum beta-lactamase genes.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
