Mesomycoplasma hyopneumoniae (formerly Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae) is a wall-less, Gram-stain-negative bacterium in the class Mollicutes, and the primary causative agent of enzootic pneumonia in pigs. It adheres to ciliated respiratory epithelium, impairing mucociliary clearance and predisposing to secondary bacterial infections, resulting in significant economic losses in swine production. M. hyopneumoniae possesses a highly reduced genome of approximately 0.9 Mb with limited metabolic capability, extensive surface-antigen variation, and strain-level diversity in repeat-rich regions.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
