Mannheimia haemolytica is a Gram-negative, non-motile coccobacillus in the family Pasteurellaceae, and the primary bacterial agent of bovine respiratory disease (shipping fever), a major cause of economic loss in the cattle industry worldwide. It normally resides as a commensal in the upper respiratory tract of cattle but can invade the lungs following viral infection or stress. The genome of M. haemolytica (~2.7 Mb) encodes leukotoxin (LktA), a key RTX-family virulence factor, along with numerous iron acquisition and immune evasion genes, with significant serotype-associated genomic variation.
Derived from 2,672 genomes: 160 from RefSeq and 2,512 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for qualibact-v1.0.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
