Listeria monocytogenes is a Gram-positive, facultatively anaerobic, intracellular rod in the family Listeriaceae, and the causative agent of listeriosis, a severe foodborne infection with high case-fatality rates in pregnant women, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. It is ubiquitous in soil and water and can persist in food-processing facilities owing to its tolerance of cold, salt, and low pH. The genome of L. monocytogenes (~2.9 Mb) encodes key virulence factors such as listeriolysin O, ActA, and internalins, with four well-defined phylogenetic lineages showing distinct ecological and pathogenic profiles.
Derived from 60,247 genomes: 683 from RefSeq and 59,564 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for qualibact-v1.0.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
