Listeria innocua is a non-pathogenic, Gram-positive, facultatively anaerobic rod in the family Listeriaceae, commonly found in soil, decaying vegetation, and food-processing environments. It is the closest phylogenetic relative of the pathogen L. monocytogenes and is frequently used as a non-pathogenic surrogate in food-safety research. The genome of L. innocua (~3.0 Mb) lacks the major virulence gene cluster (LIPI-1) of L. monocytogenes, providing insight into the evolutionary gain and loss of pathogenicity within the genus.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
