Limosilactobacillus mucosae is a Gram-positive, heterofermentative rod in the family Lactobacillaceae, originally isolated from porcine intestinal mucosa and also found in the human gut. It is characterised by its mucus-binding ability, mediated by surface-associated proteins, which supports colonisation of the intestinal epithelium. The genome of L. mucosae encodes multiple adhesion factors and exopolysaccharide biosynthesis genes that contribute to its host-adapted lifestyle.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
