Limosilactobacillus fermentum (formerly Lactobacillus fermentum) is an obligately heterofermentative, Gram-positive rod in the family Lactobacillaceae, widespread in fermented foods, sourdough, and the human gastrointestinal and urogenital tracts. It is investigated as a probiotic for its cholesterol-lowering, antioxidant, and immunomodulatory properties. The genome of L. fermentum (~2.1 Mb) encodes diverse sugar transport and phosphoketolase pathway genes that support its heterofermentative metabolism.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
