Ligilactobacillus salivarius (formerly Lactobacillus salivarius) is a homofermentative, Gram-positive rod in the family Lactobacillaceae, commonly isolated from the human oral cavity, gastrointestinal tract, and breast milk. It has attracted interest as a probiotic due to its ability to produce bacteriocins active against Listeria and other pathogens. The genome of L. salivarius (~1.8-2.1 Mb) typically includes one or more megaplasmids that carry key bacteriocin and carbohydrate metabolism loci.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
