Leptospira borgpetersenii is a spirochaete with a Gram-negative-like cell envelope in the family Leptospiraceae, and is one of the pathogenic Leptospira species causing leptospirosis in humans and animals. It is primarily maintained in chronic carrier hosts such as rodents and livestock, with transmission occurring through contact with infected urine or contaminated water. Compared with L. interrogans, the genome of L. borgpetersenii (~3.9 Mb across two chromosomes) is undergoing reductive evolution with abundant IS elements, reflecting a more host-restricted transmission cycle.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
