Lactiplantibacillus plantarum is a Gram-positive, facultatively heterofermentative rod belonging to the family Lactobacillaceae, ubiquitous in fermented foods, plant material, and the mammalian gastrointestinal tract. It is one of the most versatile lactic acid bacteria, widely used in food fermentation, biopreservation, and as a probiotic. L. plantarum possesses one of the largest genomes among lactobacilli, with an exceptionally open pangenome and extensive lifestyle-adaptation genes.
Derived from 1,049 genomes: 370 from RefSeq and 679 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for qualibact-v1.0.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
