Enterobacter roggenkampii is a Gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic rod in the family Enterobacteriaceae, a more recently delineated member of the Enterobacter cloacae complex. It is increasingly recognised as a cause of nosocomial bloodstream, urinary tract, and respiratory infections, and is often misidentified as E. cloacae by conventional phenotypic methods. E. roggenkampii possesses a chromosomal AmpC beta-lactamase and has been associated with outbreaks involving carbapenemase-producing strains in hospital settings.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
