Enterobacter bugandensis is a facultatively anaerobic, Gram-negative rod of the family Enterobacteriaceae, first described from neonatal sepsis cases at a hospital in Kampala, Uganda. It has since been identified in nosocomial infections worldwide and was notably recovered from the International Space Station, highlighting its environmental persistence. E. bugandensis frequently harbours plasmid-borne carbapenemase and extended-spectrum beta-lactamase genes, making it a clinically concerning multidrug-resistant opportunistic pathogen.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
