Campylobacter lari is a Gram-negative, microaerophilic, spiral-shaped rod of the family Campylobacteraceae, frequently isolated from seagulls and other wild birds as well as shellfish and surface waters. It is an uncommon but recognised cause of human gastroenteritis and occasional bacteraemia, particularly in immunocompromised individuals. C. lari is naturally resistant to nalidixic acid, a feature historically used to distinguish it from C. jejuni, and its genome is compact with limited accessory gene content compared to other thermotolerant campylobacters.
Derived from 632 genomes: 48 from RefSeq and 584 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for qualibact-v1.0.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
