Burkholderia contaminans is a non-fermenting, Gram-negative rod belonging to the Burkholderia cepacia complex (Bcc) within the order Burkholderiales. It has been recovered from pharmaceutical and industrial products as a contaminant and is also recognised as an opportunistic pathogen, particularly in people with cystic fibrosis and chronic granulomatous disease. Like other Bcc members, B. contaminans carries a multi-replicon genome with substantial genomic plasticity and intrinsic resistance to many antimicrobial agents.
Derived from 222 genomes: 23 from RefSeq and 199 from other sources. For the derivation pipeline and the PASS / WARN / FAIL verdict model, see the methods page for qualibact-v1.0.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
