Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum is an anaerobic, Gram-positive rod of the family Bifidobacteriaceae, commonly found in the human intestinal microbiota, particularly in infant and adult faecal samples. It is regarded as a beneficial commensal that contributes to gut homeostasis through carbohydrate fermentation and short-chain fatty acid production. Genomically, B. pseudocatenulatum shows considerable strain-level diversity in its glycoside hydrolase repertoire, reflecting adaptation to varied dietary polysaccharides.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
