Bacillus velezensis is an aerobic, endospore-forming Gram-positive rod in the family Bacillaceae, closely related to B. amyloliquefaciens and B. subtilis, with which it was previously confused. It is widely studied as a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium and biocontrol agent, producing a remarkable diversity of lipopeptides (surfactin, iturin, fengycin), polyketides, and siderophores that suppress phytopathogens. B. velezensis devotes up to 13% of its approximately 4.0 Mb genome to secondary metabolite biosynthetic gene clusters, making it one of the richest sources of bioactive compounds among bacilli.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
