Bacillus toyonensis is a facultatively anaerobic, endospore-forming Gram-positive rod in the family Bacillaceae, classified within the Bacillus cereus sensu lato group. It was originally isolated from a Japanese soil sample and is used commercially as a probiotic in animal feed under the trade name Toyocerin, authorised in the European Union for use in poultry, swine, and cattle. B. toyonensis is generally regarded as non-toxigenic, lacking the emetic cereulide synthetase and major enterotoxin gene clusters, and serves as the type strain reference for genomospecies delineation within the B. cereus group.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
