Bacillus paralicheniformis is a facultatively anaerobic, endospore-forming Gram-positive rod in the family Bacillaceae, closely related to B. licheniformis and recently separated from it based on genomic evidence. It has been isolated from diverse environments including soil, fermented foods, marine sediments, and hot springs, and some strains produce antimicrobial peptides and industrial enzymes. B. paralicheniformis can be distinguished from B. licheniformis by its distinct secondary metabolite gene clusters and the presence of additional antimicrobial resistance genes in its accessory genome.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
