Bacillus altitudinis is an aerobic, endospore-forming Gram-positive rod in the family Bacillaceae, originally isolated from air samples collected in the upper atmosphere. It is a member of the Bacillus pumilus group and has since been found in diverse environments including soil, marine sediments, and the rhizosphere, where some strains exhibit plant growth-promoting properties. B. altitudinis possesses UV- and oxidative-stress resistance genes that may underpin its survival in extreme conditions, and its genome is closely related to those of B. pumilus and B. safensis.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
