Aeromonas veronii is a facultatively anaerobic, oxidase-positive Gram-negative rod in the family Aeromonadaceae, widely distributed in aquatic environments and the gastrointestinal tracts of fish and leeches. It is clinically significant as a cause of gastroenteritis, wound infections, and bacteraemia in humans, and also causes motile aeromonad septicaemia in farmed fish. A. veronii harbours aerolysin, type II and type VI secretion systems, and a chromosomal metallo-beta-lactamase, and genomic studies reveal substantial intraspecific diversity with a large accessory genome.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
