Aeromonas dhakensis is a facultatively anaerobic, oxidase-positive Gram-negative rod in the family Aeromonadaceae, found in warm freshwater and estuarine environments. Formerly classified within A. hydrophila, it is now recognised as one of the most virulent Aeromonas species, frequently associated with severe skin and soft-tissue infections, bacteraemia, and necrotising fasciitis, especially in immunocompromised hosts. A. dhakensis encodes a potent array of virulence factors including aerolysin, type III and type VI secretion systems, and lateral flagella, and its genome reflects a high degree of accessory gene content.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
