Actinobacillus lignieresii is a facultatively anaerobic Gram-negative coccobacillus in the family Pasteurellaceae, primarily inhabiting the oral cavity and upper respiratory tract of cattle and sheep. It is the causative agent of actinobacillosis ("wooden tongue"), a granulomatous infection of soft tissues in ruminants that can lead to significant economic losses in livestock production. Genomically, A. lignieresii possesses virulence-associated genes encoding RTX toxins and adhesins typical of the Pasteurellaceae, and occasional zoonotic infections in humans have been reported following animal bites or contact.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
