Acinetobacter pittii is a non-fermenting, aerobic Gram-negative coccobacillus in the family Moraxellaceae and a clinically relevant member of the Acinetobacter calcoaceticus--baumannii (ACB) complex. It is increasingly recognised as a cause of hospital-acquired bloodstream infections, wound infections, and pneumonia, with carbapenem-resistant strains reported worldwide. Genomic analyses reveal that A. pittii harbours diverse resistance gene repertoires and mobile genetic elements, contributing to its role as a reservoir for the dissemination of antimicrobial resistance in healthcare settings.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
