Acinetobacter johnsonii is a non-fermenting, aerobic Gram-negative coccobacillus in the family Moraxellaceae, commonly isolated from human skin, animal products, and wastewater treatment systems. Although generally considered a commensal of low virulence, A. johnsonii has been occasionally implicated in catheter-related bloodstream infections and other opportunistic infections in immunocompromised patients. Its genome is notable for carrying a variety of antimicrobial resistance determinants, including genes encoding aminoglycoside-modifying enzymes that can be transferred to other Acinetobacter species.

How to read this: A value outside a failure limit fails QC. Within the failure limits, values beyond a warning limit are borderline and worth a manual look; values within the warning limits pass that criterion. A dash means that no bound is defined on that side.
